【Main Duties】
・Assistant for production supervisors, various management tasks including labor control.
【Descriptions】
- Draft and submit daily/weekly/monthly production plans based on orders received
- Check and confirm enough amount/qty. of raw and packaging materials on hand to fulfill orders/plans
- Have knowledge on production flows and equipment operations, train subordinates and troubleshoot issues
- Plan schedules and arrange workers based on production plans
- Oversee and train employees (train and instruct workers about procedures, safety and sanitations)
- Suggest/propose items that can be improved and implement changes
- Understand HACCP and maintain compliance – keep good relationships with other departments

【Qualifications and Skills Required】
- Production control/management experience (Minimum 1year)
- Have knowledge/experience in food manufacturing and related equipment and machinery (Minimum 1 year) – Maintenance work experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with other departments/teams as a team player
- Have knowledge/experience in Food Code/laws/regulations, drafting/updating company rules/standards in relation to HACCP, SQF, FSMA, etc.
- Experience in training/instructing 2 or more subordinates (Minimum 1 year)
- Repeatedly lift and carry items weighing 40~50 Lbs.
- Microsoft Office (Excel: draft/update production plans/instructions/various reports), enter/extract data from the Company’s database
- Language: English (native/business conversational) and Japanese (conversational) – instructions/orders from management includes Japanese documents
- Flexibly assign and manage employees and their time schedules
【Location】 Santa Fe Springs
【Work Hours】 Mon. – Fri., 06:00 – 15:00 or 08:30 – 17:30, plus overtime
【Report to: 】 Production Supervisor and/or Manager
【Salary/Wage】$24/hr. or DOE (Nonexempt)
